CODE NAMES: “SPECIAL TREY” and “FLAME JOB”
STORY: Here are a couple of sketches for some new prototypes that I am going to start printing. The first Robit prototype has the code name designation: “Special Trey“ (which is a play on words for .38 Special) based on the snub-nosed Smith and Wesson revolver. “Special Trey” is also nick named “Trey” as well as the “Saturday Night Special” or a “SNS“. A “Saturday Night Special” is a slang term generally used to refer disparagingly to relatively compact, less expensive, small-caliber handguns. The SNS also had a bad reputation of exploding upon use due to shoddy craftsmanship. Similarly, the “Special Trey” bot has a very clever design feature, it can be programmed to self destruct after doing it’s job…fitting.
Side Note: Special Trey is the third iteration of the Robit with the code name designation: “Pistol Whip“. Pistol Whip will still be made availaible since it is the distinction of being the very first Robit prototyped. It was only inevitible that “Pistol Whip” would evolve into the current “Special Trey” incarnation.
The second Robit prototype has the code name designation: “Flame Job”. This Robit is the hot ticket item for personal defense…and offense. Designed to be a diminutive fire starter, it has the ability to throw a stream of firey napalm 1/4 inch wide and an impressive 30 feet long. “Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius (212°F). Napalm generates temperatures of 800 to 1,200 degrees Celsius (1,500-2,200°F).” When used as a part of an incendiary weapon, napalm can cause severe burns (ranging from superficial to subdermal), asphyxiation, unconsciousness, and death.
Not bad for a tiny robot.
