1Story:  Well, it’s confession time: I am a big fan of “The Walking Dead“…the T.V. show on AMC, not the comics. Even as I lay here on the couch writing this, less than an arms length away, there is a stack of the trade paper backs on the coffee table that I have yet to read. In all honesty, I don’t know if I am ever going to read them, well not until the show runs it course…and even then who knows. Why bother?

The Walking Dead Graphic
Not for nothing, I know that the Frank Darabont and the show runners take artistic license with the property so that they take to get the show on the air and keep it on the air. I love what they do so I will enjoy it for what it is. I hear that books are sooo different from the show so on one hand I could read all the trades and probably not get thrown off of the T.V. show…but then again, if I DID read the trades it would be TWD overload!

Anyway, last we saw Beth Greene she was boozing it up with Daryll. One minute they are drinking moonshine and then BAM…someone rolls up and throws her into the trunk of a late 70’s model sedan. So, that was the inspiration for this graphic. The graphic has the farm that Sophie was in, a zombie and a picture of Beth Greene on the back of the carton. In poor taste? Sure…but it still made for a cool graphic.

Tools: Cinema 4D, Photoshop CS 6

Closing thoughts: I wish I had put some bloody finger prints on the cartons for a bigger effect. Also, why do I have to wait so long for the new season? Hurry up October…bring it on already!!!

What up! Jet Olaño here, check it out…this is my “Online Art Journal”,  which is just a cool way of saying my “lame ass art blog”. Anyway, this is not meant to show off my professional work, advertise or sway anyone’s mind. This is merely “…a place for my thoughts that come and go like the wind.” (That was an in joke) If there is anything on this page that strikes your fancy or if I’ve struck a nerve or if I’ve misspelled anything (which I’m prone to do because I usually work on this thing very late at night…I am also prone to parentheticals but I can cus it’s my damn blog! Er, I mean “Online Art Journal”) please leave a comment. All comments and critiques are welcome as long as they are constructive, any trolling will be deleted and punch you in your spleen through the internet.  Thanks for stopping by and thanks for shopping at your “One Stop Chop Shop!”
