Alchemist’s Lab – 3D interior scene

Lead to gold?!

1Story:  This is another bit of school work that I did while attending the Art Institute of Los Angeles, in Santa Monica. It was for the “Game Art” class where we had to create an interior scene  as low poly as possible. We also had to do lighting and textures. If I’m not mistaken this was a class given by the one and only Nick Marks. I loved all the classes he taught, if you ever get a chance to take one of his classes…DO!
Tools: Discreet 3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop 4

” When alchemists were talking about turning lead to gold, they were talking about turning a leaden consciousness, which most of us exist in during our lives, into a golden consciousness, which is a much better place to be.”
~ Comic Book Writer Alan Moore

Closing thoughts:  Even though I have been pretty much only working in Cinema 4d I really do miss working in 3DS Max…I wish they had it for OSX. If they did, I probably would still be on it today!

This is merely “…a place for my thoughts that come and go like the wind.” If there is anything on this page that strikes your fancy or if I’ve struck a nerve, please leave a comment. All comments and critiques are welcome as long as they are constructive, any trolling will be deleted and you will be struck with the “Ban Hammer.”  Thanks for stopping by and thanks for shopping at One Stop Chop Shop!
